Longtan Fab Launched, Contributing to Growth Momentum

The Longtan fab was built with brand new smart production system, for example, facilitated with Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) and Real Time Dispatcher (RTD), providing customers with advanced process technologies, reliable production quality and sufficient capacity. Furthermore, the Longtan fab was recognized with “Golden-label Green Building Candidate Certificate”. VisEra is also dedicated to maintain the green fields and the environment surrounding the fab, devoting itself as a corporate citizen.

The total capacity of the Longtan fab is similar with that of the Hsinchu fab, and will be expanded by phase. The phase one mass production is expected to start in the 4th quarter this year (2022). The expansion of the Longtan fab is crucial to VisEra for future development, allowing VisEra to make new technologies and new applications into reality. The new increasing capacity contributes to long-term momentum for VisEra.

During the ceremony, VisEra Chairman Robert Kuan, accompanied with special guest Mr. Gong-zhi Wang, the principal of Wenshan elementary school, Xinpu town; the management team; and other VIP guests together planted the Taiwanese rain trees, transplanted from Hsinchu fab; the over hundred-year-olds Formosan sweet gum trees, donated by Wenshan elementary school; and the native species of Chinese fringe trees from the north of Taiwan. It represents that VisEra determines to cultivate locally, expand the operations gradually, and carry forward the company’s core value sustainably.
