VisEra Longtan Fab Holds Beam Raising Ceremony and will be Ready in 2022Q2

VisEra today held beam raising ceremony for Longtan new fab, which is built at Taiwan Longtan Science Park. 

Chairman Robert Kuan hosted the ceremony in person.

The new 12-inch wafer fab is planned to operate on-chip color filter & micro-lens process, as well as on-chip multi-film process. The construction is on progress and planned to start equipment set up and pilot run at the beginning of 2022. Production is targeted to begin in 2022Q2. 

This Longtan facility not only enables VisEra to better support our customers’ needs in capacity, it also gives us more opportunities to achieve our growth strategies along with CIS market trend especially in smartphone and automotive sectors.
