Executives

Mr. J.B. Chen
Chairman

Mr. J.B. Chen is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of VisEra Technologies Company and Xintec Inc.
Prior to this, Mr. Chen was the Vice President of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company as the Head of Material Management & Risk Management from 2001 to 2005.
Mr. Chen joined tsmc in 1987 and held the positions from department manager, Fab senior director to Vice President. In 1999 ~2000, Mr. Chen was appointed by tsmc as president to Acer Semiconductor Manufacturing Inc. (formerly known as TI-Acer Inc.) He successfully transformed the company to a dedicated semiconductor foundry and has accomplished the merge with tsmc. Before joining tsmc, from 1980 to 1987, he worked for ERSO/ITRI RD department.
Mr. Chen received his B.S. degree from National Taiwan University in 1978, M.S. from National Tsing Hua University in 1980, all in Physics. He is currently Director of tsmc Education and Culture Foundation and an associate member of IEEE.

Mr. J.J. Lin
President & Chief Executive Officer

J.J. Lin is the president and chief executive officer of VisEra Technologies Company.
Prior to joining VisEra in 2005, he served at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company for 20 years from the inception of the company. During his lengthy tenure at TSMC, he has held various management positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of engineering, IE/OE, new fab planning & engineering (building five megafabs in 6 years around the world and pioneering the start-up of TSMC's first 300mm fab as the Fab Director), technical transfer, and corporate program management.
Before TSMC, he was with ITRI-ERSO for two years as process engineer in the R&D department.
Mr. Lin received B.S. degree in Chemistry from National Cheng Kung University in 1982, M.S. in Applied Chemistry from National Tsing Hua University in 1984, and Executive MBA from National Taiwan University in 2007.

Mr. Kevin Tsai
Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Finance & Administration Organization

Kevin Tsai is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of VisEra Technologies Company.
Prior to joining VisEra in 2005, Mr. Tsai served as AVP and CFO at WIN Semiconductor Company for 3 years, at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company for 2 years and at TI-Acer Semiconductor Manufacturing Inc. for 8 years.
Mr. Tsai received his B.A. degree in Accounting from Soochow University in 1986.

Mr. Peter Zung
Vice President, Business Development Organization

Peter Zung is the Vice President, Business Development of VisEra Technologies Company.
Prior to joining VisEra in 2004, Mr. Zung served at Credence Systems for 3 years, at Lam Research for 1 year, at KLA-Tencor for 3 years and at Applied Materials for 5 years.
Mr. Zung earned his B.S. degree in Chemistry from University of California, Berkeley in 1989 and M.S. in Pacific International Affairs from University of California, San Diego in 1991.

Mr. J.S. Wang
Vice President, LED Business Organization

J.S. Wang is the Vice President, LED business of VisEra Technologies Company.
Prior to joining VisEra, Mr. Wang served as VP at HANNspree for 3 years, at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company for 14 years and at Texas Instruments for 2 years.
Mr. Wang received his B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Chung Yuan University in 1983. He has extensive experiences in Semiconductor industry, specializing in semiconductor fab operations and logistics.
